You’re a pretty good judge of character, right? You can tell an honest man by the look in his eye, the firm handshake, the open smile.

Appearances can be deceiving. “Con” is short for “confidence” and a con artist depends on his (or her) ability to appear honest. You can’t judge a book by its cover, and you can’t know if an individual is trustworthy simply by the impression he makes. Always check before you invest!
